Speech Festival 2006
As usual most of the first term was taken up by students preparing for the
Speech Festival. Many of the English Club members either participated themselves
or assisted junior students in their preparation. This year some senior
students participated in the Dramatic Duologue for the first time as well
as the regular solo verse speaking. As a final preparation for the verse
speaking, we held a Poems Appreciation day here at school in early November
and this was very ably organized by the English Club committee.

certainly collected many prizes as they participated in the four stalls
and accumulated stamps. The stalls were "Terrible Tongue Twisters", "Do
you know?" (General Knowledge Quiz), "A, B, C" (Alphabet Quiz) and "Get
